I thought I'd just start with the most recent pictures and throw some of the older ones in after. We are doing really well, just enjoying the rest of my maternity leave until I go back to work at the beginning of October.
These were taken Saturday evening. Every year on August 11th we go to Starbucks to celebrate the first time Chris and I met since we first met each other in person at a Starbucks. This is just outside the one connected to the REI next to the Platte River. It's so nice there!
Chris planted some pumpkin seeds, and they are taking over already. The package of seeds said 25 to 100lbs EACH. How big will they be by mid October!!!
The Broncos play their first game of the season tomorrow night! Yeah!
Drew is just over two months now. What a handsome dude! It's so much fun to see him smile and laugh.
We use our backyard so much more now that we have our deck.
Thanks again for the yummy delivery Denise, Scott and Ivy!
It was also great to get a visit from Uncle Scott, Aunt Denise, and Cousin Ivy!
Chris' parents were in town for Drew's birth. They are moving here from California in early September! We are so excited!!! Uncle Daniel was able to get a flight home a couple days later than originally planned since I went past my due date and had to be induced.
This picture was actually taken before Drew's arrival.
I love the hospital here, and the view from my room was great!
Man, it takes forever to update a blog when you slack off! I hope we do better in the future. Come on you other slackers, it's time to update your blog too!
P.S. Debra wrote this but I just wanted to pipe in and say how lucky I feel to have Debra's brothers and sister and everyone that goes with them in my life. You guys are awesome and I love you all. I can't wait to see you all again Denise, Scott, Ivy, Danny, Dean, Sharon, Brendon and Lauren. I'm also looking forward to seeing my sister Shelley and her husband Eric and my nieces Kate and Emma and my nephew Alec. We don't know when that will be, but hopefully it will be sooner than later.
