Christmas 2007

2008? Already?

This is one of my many favorite pictures of the batch. Drew loves his Nana!

We went to my work holiday party on the last day of November. It was the first time Chris and I had been out in a very long time! Here we are with one of the nicest people I work for, Dee Ann, and her husband.

This is Chris' parents' backyard. They back to a golf course and have an amazing view.
Following are a couple shots of our killer snowman just after we made him and before the sun came out and made it nearly impossible to get our family shot since the sun was so bright and was casting shadows of our tree on our faces if we posed next to the snowman.

Man, it's hard to get a picture with a 3 1/2 year old and a baby!
Here's our girl! She is so funny and sweet!
Now for all the Christmas photos....

We exchanged presents with Chris' parents in early December when they were still planning to be out of state for Christmas. They had to cancel their trip due to the weather and road conditions.
Nana and Papa got Clare this pretty dance outfit.

A few months ago we watched a show about how they make Lacross sticks. Chris mentioned that he used to play a little and how just playing catch is fun. We never discussed it again, but we both ended up buying a set for each other for Christmas! Chris was the first to wrap his. As he put it under the tree while I stood nearby, he said to Clare, "Mommy will never guess what this is." Well, my present to him looked just like it, so I had to get it immediately to put under the tree too. Then he said, "I guess Mommy can guess what it is. Great minds think alike!

Here I am acting surprised when I opened mine.

Poor Clare was sick a couple days before Christmas, and she missed Christmas Eve, but we were so happy she was all better Christmas morning.

When we first moved to Colorado, we were looking forward to having snow on Christmas, but everyone we spoke to said that never happens. Colorado Christmases are brown. Well, we were so excited and surprised by all the snow that had fallen after we had gone to bed on Christmas Eve! It snowed the whole day! The strange thing is that Chris parent's got barely any snow!

Clare had told Chris a couple times that she wanted a skateboard for Christmas. I snapped a photo just as she came downstairs to see what Santa had brought and was explaining that she didn't want a skateboard. Ugh!

Drew is the cutest baby in the whole wide world!

Baby got back! I stuffed something in his pajamas to be silly.

Drew is changing so much. He almost has a neck now, he's almost crawling, and two teeth just broke through!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
