Happy Birthday to Chris!

Yesterday was Chris' birthday. I don't have any pictures, but we'll try to remember to snap some this weekend when we celebrate with his parents by going out to eat and having cake at home. We were supposed to celebrate last weekend, but I ended up getting a bit sick on Saturday and then Chris got really sick Saturday night. Luckily the bugs we caught were very short-lived. Drew is better too now, thank goodness.

Here are a couple more photos of our little ones.

On a very sad note, for any of you who remember my friend from high school, Paul, his daughter lost her life to cancer Monday. Eden fought so hard to survive for the last two years. She was only nine.

Just some random photos of our little cuties

Last night Clare had a lot of fun looking at all the Valentines she got at school. She's showing some of them in the photos below.

Drew threw up pretty bad in the late afternoon, so Chris had to leave work to take him home. We decided not to feed him any solids before bed, and he was in a great mood, as you can see below. Too bad he puked in our bed just after I breastfed him in the middle of the night! There's nothing like having to do laundry and give a baby a bath at 2:00 in the morning! I stayed home with him today. He is napping at the moment. I still haven't fed him any solids today. I suppose I will give hime some when he's up and hope his stomach does okay with it.

Chris is always such a good sport when Clare wants to stick stickers on his face or dress him up!

I know we say this all the time, but Clare IS such a great sister. She loves to play with Drew!

One of the books Santa brought Clare was about a girl named Nancy who likes to be fancy (Fancy Nancy). Clare likes to dress up and tells us she is like "Fancy Tancy." It's funny how some kids speak really well but have a couple words they say in their own way. At least that's how Clare is. We like it!

You'll notice that in most of the pictures, Clare is either in her panties or a summer outfit. Yes, we ARE in Colorado, and it IS winter. She just never seems to be cold. Chris and I will be in sweats, socks, and a warm shirt, and she'll be stripping of her clothes telling us she is hot. Crazy!

Last month Drew was sick and very miserable. No barfing, but a fever and bad cold symptoms. He cried a lot and was very needy. He would cry and rub his face on the blankets while on his tummy. I tried to capture how red his poor cheeks and forehead got, but you just can't really see how bad it looked in this picture. You certainly can see how beat he looks.

Clare's hair would have stuck up much more from the static if most of it hadn't been so damp. I guess this is another shot where it shows up better in person. Well, I still like the cute photo of her smiling!
(Yes, we know Drew is not supposed to be lying down in his tub.)

And here's one last shot of our gorgeous boy! Yeah!
