Five Years Old!

Our beautiful Clare turned five on May 1st. Chris' mom got her the most adorable dress and accessories!

We were so lucky to have Denise, Scott, Ivy, Danny, and Karen here from California to celebrate. We threw Clare a party, and they helped us with it so much! Thanks you guys! You're the best!

The weather didn't cooperate for the bounce house we bought, but luckily I had planned for it with indoor games and activities.

The day after the party was Clare's actual birthday, so we went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner.

We had a great time hanging out. We went for a walks, went to Pearl Street in Boulder, went to parks, and of course, played Rock Band! I think we may have even made Scott a fan.

Clare loved the present Uncle Dean, Aunt Sharon and cousins Brendon and Lauren sent! (But man, you should see the pole dancing shoes barbie is wearing!)

On another note, we were so caught up with shooting video last Easter, we completely forgot to take any pictures. Oops. At least here's one of Clare decorating the eggs a day or two before.

On Father's Day Clare and I were downstairs making breakfast. I was keeping an ear out for Drew or Chris upstairs. At one point I said to Clare, "I think I heard something." She replied in two words, "Stranger danger." That really cracked me up!
