Drew's first solid food
Man, did we flake out on taking pictures in November!
Julie and Greg came for a visit from California a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't take any pictures. Can you say LOSER? Anyway, we had a great time! If they don't want to move here, hopefully they will come visit more often.
Chris was gone most of their visit. He went to Dallas for a big boardgame convention. He was supposed to meet Ian there (a friend who moved to Florida several months ago), but Ian's wife, Ingrid, is expecting twins, and she had some complications that kept him home. Chris was really dissapointed that he couldn't hang out with Ian, but he had a great time anyway and hung out with a couple other guys.
We went to Chris' parents' house for Thanksgiving, but it was a bit of a bummer since Chris' mom was in a tremendous amount of pain due to a hip problem. She's been to the doctor and is doing better, thank goodness. We didn't even take any pictures that day!!!
Now for the photos I finally snapped...
Drew discovered his feet while on the changing table.
Drew is six months now, so I gave him some rice cereal for the first time. It went much smoother than I remember it was with Clare the first time. I think it may be because we tried it with Clare when she was a little younger, and I really used a lot of breast milk in it this time, so it wasn't so foreign to Drew. Clare helped too!
