Another Update

For some reason I like to work backwards when I have a lot of photos to post on this blog. The most recent pictures will be at the beginning. Mostly these are just some miscellaneous pictures of us hanging out. I've got Clare home with us all week until I go back to work on Monday and both kids start at a new daycare. I'm pretty depressed about how little I will be able to see my family once I'm back at work, but maybe I'll somehow eventually be able to work something better out. Can you believe how long Clare's hair is getting?

The Deloitte Parents' Network sponsored a train ride last Sunday from Georgetown.
It's time for Chris' annual October beard.

Of course we got Drew a Broncos jersey onesie!
I don't have a picture of it here, but lateley Clare likes to load up her toy stoller with all kinds of miscellaneous bags full of junk and toys and whatever, and it looks like stomething a bag lady would have. The wierd part is that she actually knows what is in each bag or basket.

This is typical of how our house usually looks after Clare has been playing for about two minutes.

I took the kids to the annual Broomfield Days fair/festival thing. It was kind of a big deal for me since I took them without Chris. I was a bit stressed out the whole time, afraid that Drew would need to be fed, and there was really no place to nurse him discreetly. Clare had a nice time, Drew slept most of the time, and we kept it pretty short.

Our pumpkin plants are getting huge! Here's Chris' mom holding Drew. Chris' parents officially live in Colorado now. We are so stoked!

We get a lot of rainbows here.

We also get a lot of gorgeous sunsets over the mountains. We often take walks around the neighborhood lake.

The big scab on Clare's forehead (above) was a result of a bad fall she took at daycare about a month ago. It was so bad, the center director called us to pick her up since they thought she may have a concussion and there was so much blood. When I saw her for the first time I thought her face was going to get so much worse over the next day or so. Fortunately, it really didn't. Now we are just waiting to see if the expensive scar medicine we bought helps. Below is a picture taken the day of the fall. It looked worse in person. You can't really see how bad it was in the photo.
