The Rockies vs the Dodgers

Well the Rockies are completely out of the pennant race but we got a chance to see them play the Dodgers last night anyway. The Dodgers won but we still had a good time and Clare got a chance to have ice cream. It was pretty chilly but kids don't care. They just want ice cream and candy! Coors Field is a really nice place to watch baseball and we got pretty good seats near the third base line. It's funny but it seemed like there were more Dodger fans then Rockies fans last night. I really wanted them to go home disappointed but it just wasn't meant to be I guess. We were glad we were able to see the "boys of summer" one last time before the end of the 2006 season.

We also went for a walk around the neighborhood the other night and Clare got to show off her sunglasses. I have to admit she looks pretty cute in them. She brought them to day-care and wanted to wear them even while she was napping. Her teacher made her take them off but put them on the table right where she was sleeping and told Clare she could have them when she woke up. Clare, sneaky little girl that she is, PRETENDED to be asleep. Her teacher Kim said she looked over out of the corner of her eye and saw Clare's hand slowly reach up and take the glasses. She put them on and immediately crashed. The trees are all changing right now, the air is getting crisp and the elk are mating up in the Rockies. We're going to try and get up there to hear the males bugle either this weekend or the next. We'll be sure to get some pictures to share with everyone. That's all for now!
