End of Summer 2009
Clare is in kindergarten! She started in August. (It seemed kind of early.) She likes it, and she has learned so much already! I can't believe the stuff they are teaching such young kids.
Thanks to Dean and his family, we took a trip to Pennsylvania before school started. Denise, Scott and Ivy were there at the same time. It was a bit crazy with so many people in one house, but how nice it was to see everyone.
Chris and I were able to see the Rockies play there. We were the only two people in the entire stadium wearing Rockies jerseys and hats. We did get heckled a little, but not too bad.
We also took a drive to Cooperstown, NY to see the Baseball Hall of Fame. Very cool!
We took The Duck tour of Philadelphia. It was on an amphibius bus. The duck whistles they give to everyone were a big hit with the kids.

We saw The Liberty Bell. We didn't get any pictures of it, but here's Indepence Hall.
We went to the Jersey Shore. I was glad we went since Clare couldn't remember the last time she'd been to the beach and Drew had never been. We are used to FREE public beaches in California, so we were shocked to hear what they charge per person to get on the beach there! Getting rearended in our rental car on the way there was a bit of a bummer too.
